Butcher, Baker, and Candlestickmaker now in stock!

Well it's been a while since my last update, but hopefully the items I've just added to the website will make up for this! New in stock this month are the rare butcher, baker, and candlestickmaker figures produced in the 1950s. Modelled by the renowned Robert Barlow, these figures are highly collectable and very rare.
I've also added a few more models from the same era, including the Tailor, Rich Man, Poorman, and Beggarman. Do check them out.
Also new in stock this month are some rare Survival Series models. These exquisite figures show Wade at its finest, and are very difficult to find these days.
With Christmas on the way, I'm going to be sending out some discount codes later this week, so if you're on my mailing list, keep a look out. And for those customers who have placed orders during this year, there's an extra special discount on its way!
Special offer pieces this month include a selection of limited edition Wade club specials, plus a number of fantastic Christmas models. Do check them out!

Major website update - many more items now in stock!

Over the last week I've done a substantial website update with over 300 new Wade items added!
Included are Disneys, Hatbox models, Happy Families, First Whimsies, Irish leprechauns, Irish characters, Whoppas, and trinket boxes, along with some rare items including the British Character series and the elusive ruddy duck!
The Arundel Collectors Meet is almost here again, so if any collectors want me to bring any specific items down, just send me an email and I'll be happy to do so. I'll look forward to seeing you all on the 10th.
On offer this month is a good selection of Irish Wade pixies and leprechauns. Be sure to check them out!

Loads more Wade just in!

It's certainly been a busy start to the year so far, and January was actually the busiest ever month for the website! I've also heard from a lot of budding new collectors lately - a promising sign!
New in stock this month are a whole host of Wade goodies. I've just updated the website with around 70 new items, including Eddie Stobart lorries, Andy Capp figures, a fantastic Nelson ship decanter, the rare Fried Green Tomatoes money box, and a good few Natwest Pigs. There's even an authentic Cousin Wesley available! I'll be making more updates in the coming few weeks, so be sure to take a look.
The April Stoke on Trent Wade fair is fast approaching and I'll be there as usual. If anyone wants me to bring any particular items, I'll be happy to do so. Just shout if so.

More items added - plus Wade books now in stock!

It was great to see everyone at the Arundel Wade Meet in July. Despite a damp start, the weather turned out to be excellent and the turn-out equally good. It certainly looked like the Wade spirit was alive and well, judging by the amount of haggling going on!
I've just made another major website update, with around 120 more items added. Among these are a few rare items such as Irish Song Figures, the British Character Lawyer, and the ever-elusive 1950s Candlestickmaker. Do take a look.
Also fresh in stock are a few Wade books including the definitive World of Wade series and Pat Murray's landmark Whimsical Wades. If you don't have these books yet, now is your chance to plug a gap or two in your Wade library!
On special offer this month are a number of unusual prototypes. These are items that were designed by Wade as trial pieces, but which, for one reason or another, never made it into production. As such, only a handful of models (sometimes only one) are known to exist. There are some generous discounts on these rare items, so do take a look.
Lastly, for collectors who missed out on C & S Collectables' recent Betty Boop Femme Fatale (now sold out), I have a small number in stock at the bargain price of £57. Be quick, as they won't be around for long!

First of all, apologies for the slow updates recently. I've started a new job recently and it's getting a lot more difficult to find the free time to update the website. Also, the football is on, which doesn't help!
That said, I have just made another major update, with over 250 more items added. They include boxed Hatbox models, Disneys, posy bowls, teapots, Ringtons items, Connoisseur birds, Mabel Lucie Attwell figures, Tetley Tea items, and many more whimsies. Don't miss out, as some models sell almost as soon as they're listed!

I've just added around 150 more items to the website, including various Wade club models, Pocket Pals, Sherwood Forest models, many more whimsies, and a few older bits. Be sure to have a browse around and see what's new.
I had intended to make this update a bit sooner but a prolonged bout of flu over Christmas meant I couldn't do the work on the site I was intending to, which kind of hampered progress.
A few people have been asking about Irish Wade and why there isn't much on the website. Do not fear - I still have a large quantity in stock, and it will be listed soon. The amount of Wade currently listed on the site is only about half of what's available, but the rest will appear in the coming months.

Hello! If you're a regular visitor to the website, you'll notice that it's had quite a major overhaul recently!
The old website was looking a bit dated after five years, and considering the huge amount of Wade I have for sale, I took the decision to redesign the whole site from the ground up.
In the process, numerous improvements have been made, the main ones being:
I've developed the new site single-handedly, which is one of the reasons it's taken so long to complete. Over the next few weeks I'll be adding much more to it, including some articles and guides on collecting Wade and many, many more Wade items!
Lastly, my apologies to all the collectors who have contacted me over the past few months wanting to know when I'm going to update the website. I hope you find the wait worthwhile.

Hello! If you're a regular visitor to the website, you'll notice that it's had quite a major overhaul recently!
The old website was looking a bit dated after five years, and considering the huge amount of Wade I have for sale, I took the decision to redesign the whole site from the ground up.

- Orders can now placed through the website with no need to email to check availability
- Payment can now be made using Paypal directly from the website (cheque option also available)
- Automatic currency conversion so you can pay in your preferred currency.
- A new webhost that (fingers crossed) actually keeps the site up!
- Technically much better - no frames, a faster database, better code, etc.
- A much improved look.
I've developed the new site single-handedly, which is one of the reasons it's taken so long to complete. Over the next few weeks I'll be adding much more to it, including some articles and guides on collecting Wade and many, many more Wade items!
Lastly, my apologies to all the collectors who have contacted me over the past few months wanting to know when I'm going to update the website. I hope you find the wait worthwhile.
